There is a lot of talk about drug tests and CBD. Ive seen many posts on social media stating 'I've been taking it for months and have never failed a drug test'. But is that sound advice?
Here is my opinion:
Even though Full Spectrum CBD (from Hemp) products contain less that 0.3% THC by dry weight (Federal Legal Limit), studies have shown that ingesting Full Spectrum CBD can cause confirmed positive results when screening urine and blood specimens. Accordingly, if you are subject to any form of employment drug testing or screening, we recommend (as does the United States Armed Services) that you DO NOT take Full Spectrum CBD products. Before taking CBD products, consult with your healthcare practitioner, drug screening testing company, or employer.
An isolate should contain 0% THC, however, you must chose the brand wisely. Random testing of bottles purchased at retailers has shown varying amounts of CBD and THC (ranging from none to more than double stated on the bottle).
